This article troubleshoots the errors, 'Can't detect Desktop reader' and 'Can't detect Sentinel Desktop reader', which are reported when your Gatekeeper is not able to detect a connected Desktop reader.


Tick the checkbox after completing a test and use the Notes fields to record the outcome


Desktop readers need to be plugged in to a free USB port on your Gatekeeper. The reader should not be plugged in to your computer.

Instructions:

  1. Verify your reader is connected to your Gatekeeper
